EVERY GIFT HAS AN IMPACT!

Just a reminder that the Legacy & Promise annual fund campaign is in full swing.  The students and staff wish to thank every parent, alumna, friend, business and organization who has already made a donation during 2011-12.  As a private Catholic school, La Reina is financially-independent, operating without church or government subsidies.

Every gift has an impact, for example:
  • Equipment for science and the performing arts
  • Financial aid for 93 students
  • Instructional technology
  • An average class size of 24 that maximizes individualized attention.

Learn more by following this link to the updated Wish List prepared by the staff...  Or make an unrestricted gift to meet the school's most urgent needs.  Please make an impact on our Regents through a recurring or one-time gift; just follow this link to donate online.

THANK YOU for believing in the La Reina legacy.  Your promise of support will bring hope to future generations of Regents.  Be assured of our prayerful gratitude, both now and in the future.   For further information, contact Sr. Lisa Megaffin by email or at 805-495-6494, ext. 382.

REGENTS RIDERS STILL IN FIRST PLACE!

Regent Riders are still the champions!  Regent Riders took High Point again at Show #3 last Sunday.  Competing with only 2/3 of the LR team due to the threat of the Equine Herpes Virus, Regent Riders still came in strong.

Going into the final championship show of the season in April, La Reina has 879 points, second place Marlborough has 830 points, and third place Oaks Christian has 646 points.

Show #3 Results:  In the Varsity division, rider Stacey Bacheller '13 was the Reserve Champion High Point Rider and also qualified for the Medal Finals in April.  In the JV Division, Alice Lockhart '12 was the JV Dressage Reserve Champion.  Our Freshman division team came in 2nd place for the division, led by newcomer Ivey Burns '17 who was individually the 3rd place rider in the division.

Congratulations riders!  Each and everyone one of you contributed to our awesome points!  Well done!
