La Reina High School is pleased to announce the second Heidel Family Scholarship, to be awarded through the generosity of Mary Heidel and Heidi Heidel '94.  This annual scholarship of $500, applicable to tuition, will be awarded to a student who:
  • Has earned the Activity Letter, as described in the Student-Parent Handbook
  • Has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
  • Has earned an "A" in Citizenship for all four quarters of the previous school year
  • Has completed the application form for the Heidel Family Scholarship by the last Friday in August; this year, the deadline is Friday, August 26.
The recipient of the scholarship will be the student who has met these criteria and has the most Credits through Extra-Curricular Activities (excluding athletics) as listed in the Curriculum Catalog.  In case of a tie, the student with the higher cumulative grade point average will be the winner.  A student may win this scholarship only once while attending La Reina.

Attention, Regent alumnae!  If you were a member of the LRHS Speech, Debate or Mock Trial Teams, this message is for you.  The Advancement Department is collecting testimonials on how these forensic activities impacted the lives of alumnae.  How did the skills you learned help you in college or in your career?   How have you been able to "give a voice to women"?  Please send your testimonial to Sr. Lisa Megaffin at by August 1.  Thank you for your assistance with this important project...go, Regent Speechies!
