SENIOR HILARY WALTERS-WEST RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP TO UNC

Congratulations to Hilary Walters-West pictured signing her NCAA Letter of Intent.  Hilary received a scholarship to play Tennis for the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley Colorado.  Hilary looks forward to pursuing her degree in Business.

REGENT GOLFERS QUALIFY AT CIF!

Congratulations to Jo Jo Sottile '13 and Divya Manthena '15 who finished in the top 28 at Monday's CIF-Southern Section Individual Finals at Talega Golf Club.  Jo Jo and Divya will advance to Thursday's WSCGS/CIF Southern California Championship which will be played in Murrieta.  The low six players from that event will go on to the State Championship.

SENIORS SIGN NCAA LETTERS OF INTENT!

Congratulations to Seniors Christine Costello and Katherine Workman who signed NCAA Letters of Intent this month.  Christine committed to play softball at Iona College and Katherine will be playing volleyball for Boston College.  Way to go Regents! 

FALL BLOOD DRIVE - NOVEMBER 15TH

La Reina High School will sponsor a Fall Blood Drive on Tuesday, November 15 from 10:00-2:00pm. United Blood Services of Ventura County will be on campus that day to accept your gift of life. Blood supplies need to be replenished regularly. Please consider making a donation! Donors must be 17 years old and meet the height/weight guidelines. FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE - NOVEMBER 19TH

Don't miss the Father Daughter Dance on Saturday, November 19th from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.  Our theme is "Jerseys and Jeans" - dress in your favorite team's attire and enjoy and evening of snacks and desserts followed by dancing, games, prizes, music and dancing.  All La Reina Students are welcome.  Click here for ticket pricing, and return this form to Barbara Lilley before November 10th.  If space is available, late reservations will be accepted until Nov. 18th.

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS MASS - THIS THURSDAY

Circle of Friends Mass will take place this Thursday, November 10th at 8:15 a.m. in the La Reina Chapel.  Mass will be celebrated by Fr. COLLEGE ADMISSION TESTING NIGHT - NOVEMBER 9

All La Reina Students, especially Sophomores and Juniors are invited to La Reina College Admission Testing Night, this Wednesday, November 9th from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Join us in the Cafeteria to learn about the role of testing in the admissions process:

• SAT vs ACT
• SAT II Subject Tests
• What colleges are looking for

CONGRATULATIONS REGENT RIDERS!

At the Interscholastic Equestrian League Show on Sunday, October 30th, La Reina took home 1st place out of 67 schools!!!

Here are individual results:

1)      LRHS: High Point Team with 292 points (followed by Marlborough with 267, and Archer School with 220)

2)      Overall Reserve Champion Rider:  Stacey Bacheller (this means she was 2nd place out of ALL riders in IEL!)

3)      Varsity Division:  Stacey was the High Point rider, and the Equitation section High point rider.

4)      Junior Varsity Division:  Rachel Swanson was the Reserve High Point rider (2nd place in all of JV).  Isabelle Campbell was the JV Jumper Champion, immediately followed by Rachel Swanson JV Reserve Champion Jumper, and Jessica Gooding as the 3rd place JV Jumper by only one point!!!

5)      Novice Division:  Reserve Champion Team (2nd place in Novice).
