DISTINGUISHED ALUMNA OF THE YEAR - COREY HARMON

Congratulations to our Distinguished Alumna of the Year - Corey Harmon, Class of 1998!  Corey is a systems engineer with NASA, at the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena and is currently working on Curiosity, the Mars' rover.  She has worked on the EDL (entry, descent, landing) since the launch of Curiosity in August.  Corey has worked on the rover project since 2008 and has worked in the War Room as a trouble shooter.  Corey received an internship at JPL in 1999 while a student at UCLA and has never left!  Corey earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from UCLA and a M.S. in Astronautical Engineering from USC.  Corey was selected by the Alumnae Board to receive this year's award, which was presented following the Advent Liturgy on December 5th.
